WILL EVERYONE FRIGGIN QUIT SAYING WE’RE ALLERGIC TO WATER! 60% OF ALL LIVING THING’S MASS IS WATER! The explanation isn’t that we’re allergic to water. It’s just that water from the home planet is considered an extreme base by your standards, so in turn Earth water is considered an extreme acid.
Oh, and BTW, Jhonen’s own character is the guy with glasses and red hair in the scene where all the water gets sucked out of the fish tank and the glass of water. There are a bunch of different real-person-inspired characters in this if you just know where to look.
